Please join us this Saturday for an impromptu holiday event! This Saturday, December 7th, Marie Reynolds will be in the gallery with her fanciful jewelry delights! Marie's bracelets and pins are all hand-made with bakelite buttons from the 1920's thru 1940's. Bakelite was an early form of plastic. Bakelite buttons remained popular until 1942 when production halted so the materials could be focused on the war effort to make phones and goggles and such. By the time the war ended, a new generation of plastics had taken over, making bakelite obsolete. Marie's keen eye and her pure love of the detail in these buttons, has come together and these unique pieces are the result! Each bracelet and pin is infused with color and a nostalgic feel, yet will work well with any wardrobe style! THERE'S MORE: We will be having a WINE TASTING from 1pm-4pm ~ and NANCY will be available for signing purchased art from 11am
